GLEE (pilot) FOX, new in the fall
I sang in Mixed Chorus in high school, but all I really know of show choirs (which is very little), I learned when daughter Kate was in high school. Since she's now a professional opera singer/actor, it couldn't have hurt. But back to this show - WOW - it is sooo much fun! The best character is the cheerleading coach, who is jealous of the growing interest in the show choir. After all, the cheerleading squad has always been 'it' at this school. Her plotting and frustration at the growing talent of choir is hysterical. I'm sure Fox will re-run the pilot at some point. Watch it and laugh.
